HOST A SCREENING

Step into the deeper conversation of our time with DeINCEPTION, by filling out the form below.
Invite your community to experience the film together – whether online, in person, or in a hybrid setting. When we watch collectively, the insights don’t just stay on the screen – they resonate, multiply, and begin to transform us.
If you’d like more details or guidance on hosting a screening, we welcome your questions via our contact form.
Who is eligible to host a screening?
Any group that is ready to explore the deeper question of why – despite our abundance – we remain restless and unfulfilled. DeINCEPTION is especially relevant for community organisations, schools, universities, faith groups, businesses, and government agencies seeking to understand the roots of disconnection in modern life and open up a meaningful dialogue about what truly motivates us.
How can I show the film?
For in-person gatherings, once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive access to download DeINCEPTION up to 72 hours before your event. This allows you to screen the film smoothly, without relying on an internet connection. If you’re hosting in a cinema or theatre and require a DCP format, simply contact us with your request.
For virtual screenings, you have two pathways:
Live Virtual Screening – Bring your audience together in real time through a synchronized online stream. Guests register via our event page, and during the film we can even offer live chat and address your audience directly through a live video broadcast.
Event VOD Screening – Give your audience more flexibility with on-demand access. They’ll have a 48-hour window to complete viewing once they begin, within a time frame you set (anywhere from 1–30 days). You may choose an upfront licensing fee, or use ticket sales with a shared revenue model.
How can I host a hybrid screening?
A hybrid screening allows your community to gather both in person and online, expanding the reach of DeINCEPTION without losing the shared experience. To set this up, you’ll need to book two events – one for the physical gathering, and one for the virtual audience. Even if they take place simultaneously, each group engages through its own dedicated event page.
If you’ve chosen the upfront licensing option, you only pay the fee once – covering your full audience across both settings. Before confirming your second booking, please reach out to us so we can ensure the additional event is linked and the extra fee waived.
How much does it cost to host a screening?
The cost depends on the format and audience size, beginning at just $1 per person. We’ve designed flexible options so that communities of every scale can take part.
Virtual or community screenings (computer + projector/screen):
Ticketed through our platform – No upfront cost. You simply sell tickets through the event page, and the revenue is shared 45/45/10: you keep 45%, we keep 45%, and 10% goes to the platform. This option is often chosen by groups who wish to fundraise.
Independent ticketing or free event – If you prefer to manage ticketing yourself (or offer your event at no cost), you can pay a one-time licensing fee, starting at USD 75 for up to 25 guests for nonprofit and faith-based organisations.
Cinema screenings (DCP format) – If you plan to host DeINCEPTION in a cinema or theatre, we’ll provide a downloadable DCP file. The upfront licensing fee begins at USD 200, scaled according to the number of attendees.
If cost is a barrier
We don’t want finances to stand in the way of your community experiencing DeINCEPTION. If you’re facing financial hardship, please reach out to us, and we’ll work with you to find a way forward.
